For Red Sea reefs, shore and boat diving, turtles, possible dugong sightings around seagrass bays, spinner dolphins at Samadai, and desert excursions. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
No. The name is used for a long hotel coast. Port Ghalib is about 65 km north of Marsa Alam town, so pickup time depends heavily on your hotel.
They may leave from Port Ghalib, Marsa Alam marina or southern harbours. Check the stated pickup zone and departure point; the label Marsa Alam alone is not precise enough.
Samadai is a protected spinner-dolphin resting reef; Abu Dabbab and Marsa Mubarak have seagrass used by turtles and sometimes dugongs. These are wild animals, so no honest operator can promise a sighting.
Marsa Alam town to Luxor is roughly 355 km and about four hours by road without pickup stops. A guided return trip is therefore a very long day.
It has no pyramids, major pharaonic temple complex or large walkable old town. Cairo and Luxor are separate long-distance trips; the local strengths are sea, reefs, desert and Wadi el Gemal.
